How To Make Money On Steam Market 2019

To my knowledge, there is no option for Steam users to "cash out" and since Valve is not listed on any exchanges (as of this date 7/2018) there are no publicly-trading shareholders options too.

The people that come to my mind, who can "cash out" are employees and other invested sundry characters of Valve who take their piece of the Valve profit pie. Also game devs and various publishers sell their wares on Steam and "make money" there.

There are third-party non-Valve and non-Steam websites that make claims but you might as well go to your nearest reputable casino with a far better chance to "make money" there.

I have a tip: You can download and play Team Fortress 2 and hope you get the "golden frying pan" drop, if you do get it, you can sell that item on the Steam market but the "money" stays on Steam.
Quite possibly you might even find a buyer offering you money outside of Steam, via an online transfer or something, this is where this type of non-Steam transaction gets typical as you'll see many complaint threads posted on this board, e.g., "someone stole my item" and/or "someone took my money"

My suggestion, you can apply for a job at Valve and/or become a dev/publisher/filmmaker/something-sellable to offer your goods and/or services through the Steam Store and see what happens, you could: profit, and/or fade into mediocrity, and/or get removed for ill-gotten gains.

If Valve becomes listed on the Nasdaq or somewherez, you can buy a couple lots of preferred stock with a margin account
